1. Photography Copyright & Image Licensing
All visual content, including but not limited to photographs, videos, and digital assets found on this website and our associated social media channels, is protected under United States and International Copyright Laws.
Because our brand represents the combined expertise of two independent photographers, imagery is credited and owned as follows:
- Sean Sharp: Images credited to Sean Sharp or Sharp Wildlife Photography (Instagram/Facebook/TikTok: @sharpwildlifephotography) are the intellectual property of Sean Sharp Photography LLC.
- Laurie Feld: Images credited to Laurie Feld (Instagram/TikTok: @following.the.sun) are the intellectual property of Laurie Feld.
- Master Brand: General website assets and content on our master brand channels (Instagram: @sharp.wildlife) are managed by Sean Sharp Photography LLC.
Intellectual Property Notice
Ownership of all images remains strictly with the respective creators. Appearance of an image on this website or our social media channels does not constitute a release into the public domain.
- Unauthorized Use: Any unauthorized downloading, screen-capturing, reproduction, or redistribution of these images—including use for AI training models, commercial marketing, or social media “re-posting” without explicit credit—is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action.

2. Tour Terms & Conditions
Booking a journey with Sharp Wildlife (a commercial operating brand of Sean Sharp Photography LLC) constitutes an agreement to the following terms. We strive to provide a seamless, expertly handled experience, and these terms ensure we can maintain the high standards of our small-group and bespoke tours.
Booking & Payment
- Confirmation: Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit.
- Final Balance: The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to the tour start date. For bookings made within 90 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Operating in extreme wilderness environments (backcountry Alaska, the Andes, etc.) requires significant advance logistics.
- Payments: All deposits and final payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Participant Cancellation: If you must cancel, we will make every effort to fill your spot. If successful, we will issue a refund minus an administrative fee. If the spot is not filled, all payments remain with the company.
- Mandatory Trip Insurance: To provide you with “calming confidence” against the unexpected, we require all participants to purchase comprehensive trip cancellation and interruption insurance. We recommend World Nomads or a similar high-authority provider.
The Nature of Wildlife Travel
- Wildlife Sightings: While we leverage years of experience to place you in the best locations at the best times, wildlife is unpredictable. Sharp Wildlife does not guarantee specific sightings or photographic results.
- Itinerary Flexibility: We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, local conditions, or safety concerns. In the wild, our priority is always the safety of our guests and the respect of the species we photograph.
3. Health, Safety & Liability
- Participant Responsibility: Guests are responsible for ensuring they meet the physical requirements of the tour (as outlined in our specific tour dossiers).
- Assumption of Risk: Wildlife photography tours involve travel to remote areas. By booking, participants acknowledge the inherent risks of wilderness travel and voluntarily assume those risks.
- Liability Release: Sean Sharp Photography LLC (operating as Sharp Wildlife), its owners, and its guides are released from liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal equipment incurred during the tour.
Booking and Confirmation:
- Booking Confirmation: Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit, unless alternative arrangements are made with Sharp Wildlife Photography.
- Remaining Balance: The full trip cost is due 90 days prior to the tour start date.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Cancellation by Participant: In the event of cancellation, Sharp Wildlife Photography will make efforts to find a replacement for your spot. If successful, a refund will be issued based on the amount received from the replacing participant. If unsuccessful, deposits and payments remain non-refundable.
- Trip Insurance: We highly recommend all participants purchase trip insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Start your research with our recommended provider, World Nomads.
Group and Custom Tours:
- Group Tours: Participants on group tours follow a predetermined itinerary and engage in activities collectively arranged by Sharp Wildlife Photography.
- Custom Tours: Private or custom tours are tailored for specific groups or individuals, allowing for a more personalized experience. Custom tours may have different terms and conditions based on the agreed-upon arrangements.
Health and Safety:
- Participant Responsibility: Participants are responsible for reviewing and meeting any health, fitness, or skill requirements specified for the tour.
- Medical Information: Participants are required to provide accurate and up-to-date medical information relevant to the tour.
Itinerary Changes:
- Tour Modifications: Sharp Wildlife Photography reserves the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances. Alternative arrangements or refunds may be provided in such cases.
Liability:
- Assumption of Risk: Participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with wildlife photography tours and voluntarily assume these risks.
- Release of Liability: Participants release Sharp Wildlife Photography and its affiliates from any liability for personal injury, loss, damage, or expenses incurred during the tour.
Photography and Images of Clients Use:
- Image Use of Clients While on Tour: Participants grant Sharp Wildlife Photography the right to use photographs or videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes, unless otherwise specified in writing.
General Terms:
- Changes to Terms: Sharp Wildlife Photography reserves the right to update these terms and conditions. Participants are advised to check for updates regularly.
- Tour Operator’s Rights: Sharp Wildlife Photography reserves the right to cancel or modify tours due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, alternative arrangements or refunds may be provided.
